Turn the poowwer up, I've waited for so long so i can hear my favourite song so let's go!! Wooooo!

Glam Rock. is. amazing!! haha

Yesterday we had another glam rock practice after articulation class, as we've missed a couple of practices due to external gigs and in-service days.
It feels like the next college gig is coming up way too quick... although when comparing this semester with the elongated months of Beatles band rehearsals last semester, it makes sense.

Don't get me wrong - Beatles band was fantastic! :D After we got all the stagecraft and musical aspects sorted, we managed to put on a half-decent show, highly marked in almost all areas of our performance. This has only given me more confidence, and makes me want to do just as well, if not better, in this next band. We're going to have more practices on top of the extra practice we had yesterday, just to make sure we're ready for the gig. But, we aren't ready until we have our lycra, wigs, and arse-less chaps :P Got to get our cat-suits ordered haha

After recording with Liam, Jamie and JP in session skills on Thursday, i really can't wait to get back in the studio in glasgow with Eat Dr. Ape, with a sound engineer who knows how to plug in a microphone...
The past few weeks have been a bit stressful. The four of us have had to decide on the song listing for our new album and go over all the songs with ears like Ben Stiller and make sure there's no unintended dissonance, or if there's anything that should be added to make the songs more interesting. Artwork has to be made, a gig at the Tams for the album launch has to be organised, and newspapers, magazines and radio stations have to be contacted after we've made press packs and copy written our music.

We now own EDA Publishing Co. which is what JP has been hard at work setting up. Now that that's done, we can run professionally and efficiently as if we were a record label, and should get paid more. Last year we never really made any money at all from any band related activities. But, im a strong believer in 'you have to spend money to make money' and this year is hopefully the year we make it big and win back all of our expenses, studio time being one of our more costly endeavours.

So yeah... college band, my band, lots of homework to do and people to phone, and mock interviews in graded unit next week :D
I've got a lot of work to do actually...
Fun fun fun! *thumbs up*
